Your Role
- Develop and implement business strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive business plan aligned with the overall company strategy. This includes setting revenue targets, identifying market opportunities, and defining go-to-market strategies
- Sales Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team
- Manage P&L: Track and analyze financial performance. Identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures
- Manage GI team: Hire, Train and manage a high-performance team, providing guidance and support to ensure all individual reach their goals. Give a Day-to-Day coaching is one of key success factor.
- Industry Expertise and Market Analysis: Possess in-depth knowledge of the General industry, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Continuously monitor market trends, identify growth opportunities, and assess potential risks and report to General Manage in Japan
- Business Opportunity Identification: Proactively seek out and evaluate new business opportunities in the general industry. Identify potential customers, analyze their needs, and develop strategies to penetrate new market segments.
- Key Account Management: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at major OEMs. Understand their production processes, challenges, and strategic goals.
- Solution Sales and Negotiation: Effectively sell Atlas Copco's solutions to potential and existing customers, demonstrating the value proposition, and addressing their specific manufacturing needs. Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to achieve favorable outcomes together with Sales Reps.
- Proposal and Tender Preparation: Prepare compelling proposals and tenders for projects, highlighting Atlas Copco's expertise and capabilities. Effectively communicate the company's value proposition and address customer requirements.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance with other stakeholders to customers, addressing their equipment-related issues and ensuring their satisfaction. Collaborate with Sales and Service to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the general industry. Understand their manufacturing challenges and provide tailored solutions to address their needs.
- Competitive Analysis and Benchmarking: Conduct thorough competitive analysis to understand competitor strategies, strengths, and weaknesses. Benchmark Atlas Copco's solutions against industry standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Market Research and Data Analysis: Conduct market research to gather insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Contribution to the Regional Strategy: Actively contribute to the development and implementation of our regional strategy. Provide insights and recommendations based on market knowledge and customer interactions.
- Knowledge Sharing and Training: Share knowledge and expertise with Atlas Copco sales teams and technical personnel to enhance their understanding of industrial solutions and market trends. Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve their sales skills as well as day to day coaching by using Salesforce.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting: Track and measure sales performance against targets and identify areas for improvement by CRM. Prepare regular reports for BLM that provide insights into market trends, customer interactions, and sales opportunities.
To succeed, you will need
- Strong Leadership skills to motivate and lead a sale team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, especially with key stakeholders.
- Excellent technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and Atlas Copco's solutions
- Result Oriented, A focus on achieving and exceeding the targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of our leadership team.
- Minimum 5 years’ Leadership experience industrial equipment industry
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English
