LOGISTEED Europe B.V., a dynamic Japanese company with a global presence, is seeking an experienced Air Import Operator to join our supportive and multicultural team at Schiphol. We specialize in comprehensive logistics services, including airfreight, sea freight, and road transport, with a focus on excellence and innovation.
What You’ll Do:

• Manage Shipments: Oversee and execute complex air import files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
• Coordination: Arrange bookings, liaise with subcontractors, and ensure seamless collaboration across stakeholders.
• Customs Declarations: Prepare and process customs declarations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
• Customs Expertise: Prepare and oversee essential customs documents, bills of lading, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Customer Relations: Serve as a key contact for clients, providing updates, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage costs and revenue entries, ensuring alignment with budgets and operational targets.

Ideal Candidates:

• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in air freight forwarding or a related logistics role, with a strong focus on air import operations.
• Skills:
• Expertise in customs declarations, documentation, and processes.
• Proficiency in logistics systems (Blujay/Cargomate knowledge preferred).
• Advanced organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
• Education: Diploma in customs, logistics, or a related field is a big plus.
• Flexibility: Available for variable working hours (Mainly: 07:00–15:30, Sometimes: 08:00–16:30, or 08:30–17:30) and adaptable to dynamic business needs.
• Requirements: Able to pass a background check (VOG+VGB) for a Schiphol pass.
