The Role:
As CFO at Scotty AI, you’ll be more than just our "financial numbers person." We need a strategic thinker who can see the big picture while keeping a keen eye on the details. As part of our board and management team, you’ll shape our financial strategy, lead financial planning, translate this into our day-to-day operations, manage related projects, help us navigate funding, and communicate these efforts in a well-structured manner to our board—ensuring we always have the resources to achieve our ambitious goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Shape and drive our financial strategy, balancing big-picture goals with day-to-day financial execution.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, translating strategy into actionable steps across the organization.
• Manage project planning and execution, ensuring that financial operations align with our growth goals.
• Oversee funding processes, from identifying opportunities to navigating negotiations, and communicate these efforts effectively to the board.
• Collaborate with our leadership team to support key decisions and foster a financial culture that aligns with Scotty AI’s mission and values.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned finance professional with experience in senior roles, ideally within high-growth tech environments.
• Experienced in fundraising and scaling organizations, with a background in Paa S/Saa S or AI-related fields being a plus.
• Skilled in financial modeling and comfortable turning data into insights that steer strategic decisions.
• A self-starting, collaborative leader who values transparency, integrity, and accountability.
• Excited to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation meets financial discipline.

Free choose work location within EU timezone. Offices available in Portugal and the Netherlands. Remote is possible.
