Job Scope
The Coordinator Internal Communications is responsible for the planning, implementation, tracking, reporting and evaluation of all Sky Team Internal Communications activities.

As the Coordinator Internal Communications, you will be at the heart of our efforts to build and maintain Sky Team’s image and reputation among our valued customers and member airlines. You will spearhead internal communications strategies, ensuring seamless and impactful messaging across our global network.
Key Result Areas / Key Responsibilities
Chair Internal/Employee Communications Working Group

Lead, manage, leverage IC working group to achieve Sky Team-related IC objectives and goals
- Work proactively with the Internal Communications team, composed of members from all Sky Team airlines
- Align Internal Communications plans with airline members, relevant business owners and other internal stakeholders, ensuring commitment and consistency
- Chair Internal Communications working group meetings and conference calls
- Guide and support new members through the Internal Communications aspects of their joining process, including their joining events
Lead on other IC project needs

Support in-house business owners (BOs) and Brand Team company-wide with IC comms needs
- Manage agency relationships and processes
- Sharpen briefings, agree strategy, identify deliverables/assets and who will create/produce them (internal or 3rd party)
- Coordinate and execute customer care with members
Manage In House News
- Maintain and evolve storytelling/article approach started in 2023, measuring and adjusting as necessary for continued employee engagement

Must have:
Authorization/availability to reside and work legally in The Netherlands on a full-time basis.(note: this position does not offer relocation assistance).
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Public Relations, Copywriting, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
- Proven communications experience in the airline/travel & transport industry, either directly as part of the business or through a PR agency.
- Up-to-date knowledge of corporate and internal communications, social media tools and tactics.
- Proven track record designing and executing successful IC campaigns at international and multi-market level.
- Previous experience working in an international environment with multinational and multicultural demographics.
- Event organizing experience.
- Business awareness and a good knowledge of current affairs.

- Able to discuss complex and sensitive issues, diplomacy, ability to balance different or even conflicting objectives among multiple stakeholders.
- Able to work in teams and being sensitive to other national and corporate cultures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
- Superb oral and written communication skills in English (NATIVE LEVEL).
- Proven ability to build and maintain valuable relationships with member representatives and other stakeholders, including airline executives.
- Able to work well under pressure, with multiple overlapping deadlines, ensuring tasks are prioritized and goals are met.
- Able to manage shifting priorities.
- Able to be creative and to show initiative.
- Good problem-solving skills.

- First Interview: You'll receive an invitation for a first interview in-person at our office in Amstelveen.
- Second Interview & Case Study: You'll be invited to a second round of interviews at our office in Amstelveen if the first interview goes well. This stage may also include a case presentation, providing you with an opportunity to showcase your problem-solving skills and industry acumen. On very rare occasions, there might be a follow-up third/final Interview.
- Email Job Offer: Upon successful completion of the interviews, we'll present a job offer to you via email.
- Contract/Offer: Finally, with much excitement, we'll prepare a comprehensive employment contract formalizing your new role at Sky Team.
