About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Aggregation Specialist to join our data team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and aggregating data from various sources to provide actionable insights. You will work closely with different departments to support business decision-making by ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Aggregation:
Extract and aggregate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, web scraping, and third-party providers.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of collected data through validation and error-checking processes.
Data Processing & Cleaning:
Clean and preprocess data to ensure it is ready for analysis.
Identify patterns and trends in datasets to ensure data consistency and reliability.
Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to understand their data needs.
Collaborate with the analytics team to develop and refine data aggregation processes and tools.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare reports and dashboards to present aggregated data to stakeholders.
Support business units by providing actionable insights based on the data collected.
Automation & Optimization:
Develop automated processes for continuous data aggregation and updates.
Recommend and implement improvements to data collection methods and tools.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience (2+ years) in data aggregation, data processing, or a related role.
Experience with data extraction tools, APIs, and automation of data workflows.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Familiarity with web scraping tools (e.g., Beautiful Soup, Scrapy) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
