You will join our Online Sales (E-commerce) department based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in the position of: E-commerce Merchandiser Specialist - EMEA

About the Role:
This position is within HARMAN’s Consumer Lifestyle Division in Europe, headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As part of the EMEA Online E-commerce Team in a rapidly growing company, you will be responsible for the user experience of our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) domains predominantly focused on JBL, AKG and Harman Kardon. In this role you will be the main Point of Contact for any merchandise/platform specific questions. The primary focus will be on reaching our commercial targets however you will also be working on the overall look and feel of our brand sites.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure perfect execution of all in-stock products and New Product Introductions (NPIs).
  
• Drive up and cross-sell capabilities across platforms via bundles.
  
• Set up campaigns, promotions, and commercialize NPI launches.
  
• Manage product homepage, banner creation, and trading campaigns in alignment with (local) Marketing and Communication teams.
  
• Maintain non-commercial parts of the site such as footer, Customer Service (CS), and our story, excluding marketing landing pages.
  
• Optimize homepage maintenance and banner activations.
  
• Maintain help me choose tools and implement comparison modules to drive upsell and conversion.
  
• Manage filter attribute maintenance on Product Landing Pages (PLPs).
  
• Set up new categories and landing pages.
  
• Analyze on-site performance using Content Square and other relevant tools.
  
• Own product information accuracy on Product Detail Pages (PDPs), PLPs, and homepage, excluding pricing and stock.
  
• Ensure SEO content and copy optimization.
  
• Manage delivery promise optimization, optimize the customer journey, and owner experience.
  
• Create coupon codes for cross functional teams in the organization.
  

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or similar.
  
• At least 1-3 years of work experience in E-commerce merchandising or a related field, with a focus on driving sales and optimizing customer experience.
  
• Proficiency in E-commerce platforms, including but not limited to, setting up campaigns, promotions, and managing product listings. Experience in Salesforce tools is a plus.
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze on-site performance data using tools like Content Square or GA4.
  
• Able to create your own content assets via Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Communication, and other teams.
  
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on ensuring accuracy in product information and execution of merchandising strategies.
  
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Willingness to work in an office 2 days a week.
