What you will do

In your role as Finance Director, you will lead our Dutch offices and serve as a strategic financial advisor, contributing to the overall success of the organization. You will work in a dynamic, enthusiastic environment where colleagues are motivated to work together for sustainable growth. You will be responsible for adapting and implementing group-level financial initiatives and developing and implementing local financial processes that can be seamlessly integrated across the organization. In doing so, you will ensure consistency and efficiency at all levels.
As a member of the Market Leadership Team, you will work closely with your colleagues to achieve strategic goals, optimize business processes and strengthen collaboration between departments. The energy and passion within the team make this position particularly inspiring and challenging. You will report to both the Managing Director of the Dutch market and the Group CFO and work closely with colleagues within Group Finance. You will have the opportunity to travel to Copenhagen at least once a month to strengthen the communication between our offices.
In addition, you will be responsible for:

Managing income statements, balance sheets and cash flows. Your expertise is critical to maintaining optimal financial health.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting for the Dutch market, applying proactive strategies to effectively address financial challenges.
Providing financial insights to both local management and the Group CFO, which form the basis for strategic decision-making. It's not just about the numbers; your insights provide clarity and depth to the Dutch market.
Developing a comprehensive reporting framework that includes both financial and non-financial KPIs.
Work closely with the Group Finance team to enhance our reporting tools, improving the efficiency and accuracy of our auditing and reporting processes.
Representing the Netherlands within the finance team, you oversee local VAT and tax matters. You work closely with specialists to ensure compliance and optimize financial results.

What you have

A completed university education
Minimum of 5 years of experience within the audit practice
Strong communication skills
Good command of the English language
