HUGO BOSS INTERNATIONAL B.V. is the holding and financing entity within the HUGO BOSS Group. As part of this function, the Group`s external financing volume is drawn through and provided to the Group´s subsidiaries in its capacity as “in-house bank”. Its head office located in Amsterdam is currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic: Financial Controller for 32 to 40 hours per week. The mission of the Financial Controller includes the responsibility for all reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis topics for our “in-house bank” in the Netherlands. You will be an important member of our small and dedicated team in which we work closely together and support each other. In this role, you will directly report to the Head of Finance & Administration / Managing Director and closely cooperate with our Group Treasury, Group Accounting and Corporate Controlling department located in our Headquarter in Metzingen, Germany. Together with the team, you will work on further developing the processes and procedures and continue the digitalization journey of HUGO BOSS International B.V..

What you can expect:

You are the key contact and responsible for all internal and external reporting matters and all process topics related to the preparation of financial statements.
You independently manage the month-end and year-end closing process as well as the annual audit and prepare the financial statements of HUGO BOSS International B.V.
Your responsibility includes to review the reported figures and analyze the company´s actual performance against budgeted figures.
In this role, you will organize and review the forecasting and budgeting process and closely liaise with all relevant interface departments such as Corporate Controlling, Treasury and HR.
Being the Financial Controller of our “in-house bank”, your responsibility also includes to monitor the intercompany loan limits and work on required measures to optimize the cash positions of our international subsidiaries.
In connection herewith, you will closely cooperate with the Group Treasury and Group Accounting department to analyze and improve the foreign currency exposure of HUGO BOSS International B.V. caused by the intercompany accounts and the bank accounts.
You will have the opportunity to work on interesting financing and hedging topics to support our Group Treasury department.
You proactively contribute ideas and take the lead for the continuous development and optimization of the month-end closing process with a focus on process efficiency as well as automation and digitalization.

Your profile:

You have successfully completed your bachelor or master’s degree in finance, accountancy, or a related discipline.
Experience in the field of accounting, controlling or treasury for at least 5 years.
Knowledge of treasury middle and back office tasks are a plus.
Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a small team with a high level of commitment.
Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and MS Office (especially Word and Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Dutch and German communication skills are a plus.
Living nearby Amsterdam.
