Functional Application Manager ROCK
At this point you are probably wondering, what is ROCK? It was a bit too long to explain in the title, but is stands for Risk based on Customer Knowledge and is a collection of systems supporting our Compliance, Risk, Legal and Financial Economic Crime departments. We use the ROCK system to take preventive measures against money laundering and terrorist financing.
The Functional Application Manager (FAM) plays a vital role in the functional maintenance of the ROCK systems and its complete wellbeing. Next to this the focus by the FAM team is to support the use of it in the various countries DLL is active in and to represent the interests of user groups. The system is being used globally in 25 countries. The FAM works closely with the Product Management of ROCK who determines the requirements and priority of the further development of the system.

Day to day:

• Change requests: support the Product Manager in detailing the change requests submitted from various stakeholders
• Testing: Support and execute User Acceptance testing of ROCK changes in collaboration with the countries using ROCK
• Monitor overall usage and behavior of the system and be able to report on it.
• Documentation: maintenance of user manuals, work instructions, etc. in case of changes in ROCK
• Change management: support the countries / end-users in the modifications made in ROCK and possible impact on their day-to-day operations
• Incidents: support the Technical Application Management team of IT in assessing incidents reported
• Watch list management: ensure that watch lists (Sanctions, PEP, other) are up-to-date and processed properly in ROCK
• User management: arrange the access of end-users with IT, safeguard with countries that no unauthorized persons have access, guide the company policy regarding topics as SOD, SOX etc.
• Country questions: manage questions from countries on the use of ROCK
• Communication to countries: keeping the user community up to date on activities in ROCK through regular meetings and ad-hoc communication
• ROCK table management: within ROCK several configuration tables are to be maintained

Essentials:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance of systems or in a comparable role
• Test experience is a must-have
• Ability to translate functional requirements into IT capabilities and vice versa
• Ability to manage a large group of diverse stakeholders and building the bridge between those stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of compliance and more specific of Anti-Money Laundering and related regulations is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch language is a pre
• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands and able to work several day per week in our Eindhoven office
• Flexible mindset as sometimes some work needs to be done outside of office hours, like a go-live on Saturday
