Job description

Due to a full Portfolio, we are looking for a full time Geotechnical Engineer in our Headquarters in Rotterdam.
You will execute geotechnical work scopes in-house, at our existing clients or at potential new clients in both the Offshore Wind and Oil & Gas sector. Initially to support our current activities: installation engineering for projects related to subsea cables, pipelines and structures, but later we will also aim to directly engage in other geotechnical projects. During these projects, you will have a direct client interface and report directly to the engineering manager.

Job Requirements

The desire and drive to take on this next step/challenge;

• MSc in Geotechnical Engineering;
• 5 years working experience as Geotechnical Engineer in the Offshore Industry;
• Extensive experience of at least one of the three areas of expertise below:
• Routing, burial, etc. for subsea pipelines and/or cables and landfalls,
• Foundation design (gravity, piled, driven and suction installs),
• Survey planning, tool selection, project management and supervision thereof;
• Experience working with GIS tools, Plaxis and other relevant software;
• In possession of an EU work permit;
• Living in, or prepared to move to the Rotterdam area.
