We are looking for a new colleague in our Technical department.
As a HSE Officer you will:

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental certifications.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and processes to meet certification requirements.
• Collaborate with management to implement sustainability goals in line with Green Steel initiatives.
• Lead HSE training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Investigate incidents, analyze risks, and provide detailed reports and corrective actions.
• Implement strategies to reduce energy usage, emissions, and waste.
• Work with technical teams and regularly present HSE performance reports to management.

We are looking for a colleague who:

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and sustainability practices.
• Preferable 3 years of experience in an HSE role. Not a must
• Experience in risk management and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication and training skills, fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Reside in the Netherlands or within the European Union and hold a valid work permit to work in the Netherlands.

Working hours:
Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week. Flexible schedule depending on operational needs.
