Job Family: HR - HR Generalist

Location:Rotterdam Office, NL Schiedam, NL, 3115JD

• You act as a strong partner to the business stakeholders in your scope. You provide solicited and unsolicited advice on all HR related matters to your managers, guiding them to be ‘the first HR manager’ to their team. You are the first HR point of contact and move easily between stakeholder of all levels,.
• You work together with HR colleagues from various disciplines. This includes specialist pillars such as Talent and Learning, Reward, International Mobility and Talent Acquisition of which some are based in Porto, Portugal.
• You are part of the wider Group Functions HR community. You collaborate with the global HRBPs for Group functions, as well as your local HRBP counterparts in the various SBM locations across the world. In addition to your daily and operational tasks you have the opportunity to take part in various projects.
• You have good knowledge of Dutch employment law topics. This includes topics like absenteeism and dismissal law. You make sure to maintain up to date knowledge of any change to the relevant legislation.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or another field related to the position.
• At least 5 years’ work experience in HR, with a minimum of 2 years working as an HR Advisor and/or HR Business Partner.
• Experience within a fast paced and demanding environment.
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal, as well as a good level of Dutch.
• Ability to work both independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and being able to work with deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize your work within a hectic environment, being able to multi-task and keep an overview of all HR related processes.
• Accurate, proactive and no-nonsense attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with an HRIS, specific experience with SAP Success Factors is a plus.
