Industrial Softgoods Designer
Are you an Industrial Designer with strong capabilities in textiles and soft goods? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where creativity and technical expertise meet to produce exceptional products? If so, Joolz is looking for you! As an Industrial Designer specializing in textiles and soft goods, you will be pivotal in the design and development of our stroller softgoods and accessories. Your role will involve creating innovative designs that enhance functionality, aesthetics, and user experience. Softgoods and Hardware design capable. You will work as part of our product development team to ensure that every product meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development: Carry out design and development of textile, soft goods components for strollers and accessories, ensuring they meet aesthetic, functional, and technical requirements.
Constructional detailing textiles: technical insight sufficient to be able to come up effective softgoods constructions that meet our aesthetic and functional needs.
Prototyping: Create detailed prototypes and mock-ups of soft goods designs, iterating based on feedback and technical feasibility.
Technical Documentation: Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and production documentation to guide manufacturing processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of soft goods into the overall product design.
Hardware design: Capable of designing parts Solidworks fluent.
Compliance: Ensure that all designs meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial design with a focus on textiles and soft goods.
A portfolio showcasing your design projects and demonstrating your design process and outcomes.
Excellent hands-on softgoods prototyping and design skills.
Strong understanding of textile properties, materials, and production processes.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, and CAD programs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and sustainability.

We offer a salary up to €4.500,- euro per month based on a full-time employment, depending on your level of experience and capacities;
A hybrid position: 50% in the office and 50% from home, when working full-time 3 days at the office and 2 at home;
