Exciting Data Science Internship Opportunity at MAKRO Nederland
Are you a university student (HBO/WO) of 3rd/4th year passionate about technology and looking to gain real-world experience?
MAKRO Nederland is seeking enthusiastic university students for an internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in the evolving world of Data Science. Work with us on cutting-edge IT projects that drive innovation in wholesale sector!
What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects, enhancing business insights and decision-making tools.
• Assist in developing data-driven solutions that support business operations and strategic decision-making in areas like customer analytics, marketing and strategic reporting
• Work with Gen. AI, Predictive modelling, Data Engineering and Dashboarding to optimize and automate business processes.

Qualifications

• You are a 3rd/4th-year student of HBO/WO - preferably in a university program focused on Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Computer Science.
• Passion for leveraging data to solve complex problems and a strong interest in wholesale technology.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to innovate with a cross-functional team.
• Strong command over English as a medium of communication. Dutch strongly preferred
• Preferred technical skills:
  • Google Cloud Platform - Big Query, Vertex AI, Looker Studio
  • Micro Strategy
  • Using Github for version control
  • MS Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, etc.)
