Position Overview:
As a Junior Planner at Mamiye/Scotch & Soda, you will play a key role in supporting our buying and planning efforts, providing critical analysis and insights to help optimize production performance, pricing, volume, and margins. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate across departments, build valuable partnerships, and make a real impact within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
What You’ll Do:

Manufacturing Support: - Assist in analyzing manufacturing performance and contributing to the sourcing strategy.
- Support negotiations on terms, pricing, and lead times with partners.
- Help evaluate supplier performance and maintain internal rating systems.
- Production Planning & Buying:
- Assist with creating and placing purchase orders based on forecasts.
- Track buy vs. sales performance for ongoing programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop production plans and schedules.
- Supplier Management:
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers and support efforts to improve processes and efficiency.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure products meet quality standards and assist in resolving any quality issues.
- Help implement sustainable practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Support in generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work with finance, product, and supply chain teams on planning, cost tracking, and calendar management.

- Assist in addressing production delays and operational challenges proactively.

- Basic understanding of production planning, buying, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on learning and adaptability.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software is a plus.
- Maintains a growth mindset and perseverance in challenging situations

Work Authorization: Must hold valid work authorization for the Netherlands, without the need for employer sponsorship.
- This role is mainly in-office with occasional work-from-home days
