Position Overview:

As a Junior Planner at Mamiye/Scotch & Soda, you will play a key role in supporting our buying and planning efforts, providing critical analysis and insights to help optimize production performance, pricing, volume, and margins. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate across departments, build valuable partnerships, and make a real impact within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

What You’ll Do:

Manufacturing Support:

Assist in analyzing manufacturing performance and contributing to the sourcing strategy.
Support negotiations on terms, pricing, and lead times with partners.
Help evaluate supplier performance and maintain internal rating systems.

Production Planning & Buying:

Assist with creating and placing purchase orders based on forecasts.
Track buy vs. sales performance for ongoing programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop production plans and schedules.

Supplier Management:

Maintain clear communication with suppliers and support efforts to improve processes and efficiency.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Ensure products meet quality standards and assist in resolving any quality issues.
Help implement sustainable practices and ensure compliance with regulations.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Support in generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends and improvement areas.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work with finance, product, and supply chain teams on planning, cost tracking, and calendar management.

Problem Solving:
- Assist in addressing production delays and operational challenges proactively.

What you’ll bring:

Basic understanding of production planning, buying, and supplier management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

A detail-oriented approach with a focus on learning and adaptability.

Familiarity with data analysis tools and software is a plus.

Maintains a growth mindset and perseverance in challenging situations

Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages time and energy to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Takes ownership of projects and decisions, demonstrating accountability, initiative, and a proactive approach to achieving goals and driving results.

Work Authorization: Must hold valid work authorization for the Netherlands, without the need for employer sponsorship.

This role is mainly in-office with occasional work-from-home days
