MDM Developer – Dev Engineer (IBM MDM Advanced Edition)

Are you an experienced developer with expertise in IBM Master Data Management (MDM) Advanced Edition (AE)? We’re looking for an MDM Developer to join our team and help maintain and extend the One PAM platform within ING's international infrastructure. You'll be working in a dynamic environment, developing new features and solving incidents to ensure the smooth operation of the platform.
** You must to travel one day a week to Leeuwarden.

What you’ll do:
  • Split your time between 50% development work and 50% incident management.
  • Support the feature engineer squad, not directly dealing with customers, but ensuring seamless MDM operations.
  • Participate in a stand-by shift approximately once every 6-7 weeks.
  • Contribute to the One PAM platform by deploying and configuring new features, components, and releases in a controlled way.
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain the MDM system for ING’s European operations.

Job Requirements
Key technical skills:
  • IBM Master Data Management (MDM) Advanced Edition (AE) (experience with CE is not sufficient)
  • Java (version 1.6)
  • SQL (DB2 preferred)
  • Maven build tool
  • Bash scripting
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Docker, Kafka, and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies, including Ansible and continuous integration/delivery.
Soft skills:
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • A team player with a structured work approach and good problem-solving skills.
  • Resilient and able to work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to participate in a stand-by rotation and to continuously improve your technical skills.

What we offer:
  • Initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension
  • 36-hour work week
  • Salary range: €5.060,00 - €7.100,00 gross per month
  • Holiday payments and 13th month
  • Full pension according to Dutch temporary labour CLA
  • Hybrid working (in-office and remote)
