URW Northen Europe is an international team of about 140 employees based in the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark. We run a total of 7 assets like Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, Stadshart Amstelveen, Westfield Mall of Scandinavia, Westfield Taby Centre and Fisketorvet, Copenhagen.

What we offer
For our head office in Amstelveen, and our three assets in the Netherlands we are looking for a seasoned People Business Partner who has a strong track record in driving a transparent, open and a cohesive working culture that breathes trust and professionalism. You are responsible for the Netherlands based employees (55) and work in close collaboration with your Swedish counterparts and the Group People team in Paris.
The People Team is a driven, experienced team of 6 colleagues working in both our Swedish and our Dutch Head offices and in our assets. The team focuses on securing the best possible working experience for our employees and takes pride in delivering excellence and flawless services to all. They are also passionate ambassadors for our annual Community Day, Be You networking initiatives and URW for Jobs events.

In this role, your main missions are:

To constantly keep yourself up to date on the labor law and trends in HR.

To attract, engage and retain talent that are matching super well with our company profile

To create, nurture and develop good relationships with our managers society and all employees.

To secure a smooth service oriented People department that runs a reliable administration, payroll, performance cycle and makes the right judgment calls when asked to provide answers.

To prepare and implement the new pension policy and be the contact person for our works council
Where will you work?
Our teams work in our head offices or in our assets. The team is generally present in office or in the assets. For this role we expect that you will work from our Westfield Assets about once a week and the other days you will mainly work in our HQ in Amstelveen.

We provide for a laptop and a mobile phone.
We offer a one year contract with an option to extend to permanent (24-32 hours per week)
You will receive 32 holidays (based on a fulltime employment)
There is a company health insurance available at a reduced tarif.
You will get a meal allowance of € 2,- per day and a commuting allowance of € 0,32 cts per km, or an NS business card;
We offer a compensation for your sports activities as well as the option to a group health insurance.
What we are looking for
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
You have experience in an international environment and are used to working in a matrix organization
You have between 5-10 years of professional experience in HR
You have Relationship building skills and you are a team player
You have financial and analytical skills
You are a driven and responsible person taking ownership
Both in Dutch & English, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You are bold and curious by nature, and able to develop and implement innovative actions plans.
You are confident in dealing with key internal and external stakeholders.

If you are invited the join our recruitment process, you may expect the following over a period of about 4 weeks:
1st round: interview with Head of People & Finance Business partner
2nd round: interview with MD, People & important stakeholder in the business
A test may come in place after these 2 interviews, assessing your numerical & logical skills
3rd round: “Meet & Greet” with 2 members of the Regional Management team
We aim to have at least one round done face to face in the office.
