Research Associate, Upstream Processing

The Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Research Associate Upstream Processing within our Cell Engineering & Sciences team! In this role you will support the Upstream Process team from early stage to late stage development. Within the role you will use different production platforms whilst producing a wide variety of different antibodies and antibody formats.

Responsibilities

Independently conduct activities related to assigned research study (e.g. conducting experiments, report processing, interpretation, and documentation)
Perform and optimize standardized/pre-described lab processes
Perform USP processes using Ambr15/ Ambr250 and 3L up to 50L Bioreactor systems
Perform clarifications using different platforms
Support internal Cell line development projects
Support Process development
Translate your findings into insights that can significantly improve the process of antibody production
Communicate your results to others effectively through reporting and presenting your work

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant technical area (e.g. biology, immunology, cell biology)
0-1 year experience in relevant technical area is seen as beneficial
You have a passion for animal cell technology and are eager to learn more about the subject
Experience with animal cell culturing is a significant advantage
You have a proactive and enthusiastic mindset
You are a team player
Strong communication skills, both orally and written, in English
Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team with diverse researchers and stakeholders
