What the job is about

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our agile development teams.

For our team in The Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master. The Scrum Master's primary goal is to enable the team to continuously improve its way of working, enhance efficiency, and promote self-sufficiency.

This means you will:

• Facilitate sprint plannings, daily, stand-ups and other ceremonies together with maintaining a backlog for the team, monitoring deliverables, etc.
• Ensure understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies within the team and ensure adherence to these Principles and Practices.
• Promote collaboration, participation, and communication within the team.
• Collaborate with the team coach and Product Manager to ensure a good work atmosphere, correct resource allocation and product vision.
• Actively participate in the Agile Community of Practice (COP), sharing knowledge, providing best practices, etc.

Your Interests and Skills

Communication and interpersonal skills are foundational for a Scrum Master to create a collaborative and productive working environment, facilitate effective teamwork, and guide the team through the challenges.

Time-management and organizational skills are crucial since you need to ensure tasks are done within the correct timebox and make sure highest-priority tasks are taken up in each sprint.

Adaptability is key in an agile environment. Being flexible and open to change helps in responding to evolving project requirements and adapting the team's approach accordingly.

What else is expected:

• several years of experience as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
• Experience with agile project management tools.
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
• Fluent in English.
