What will you do as senior policy advisor electricity markets?
At Tenne T you actively contribute to an efficient energy transition by developing suitable market design solutions in co-creation with stakeholders. You are working in particular on the following:

- Your primary responsibility will be the development of robust, future-proof policies and concepts for the offshore market. This involves close collaboration in multi-disciplinary projects and with external stakeholders.
- You are a trusted advisor on your topics towards internal and external stakeholders, particularly ministries and regulators. You provide pro-active analysis and stakeholder management to ensure that our views are well-represented in the market design discussions.
- You will represent Tenne T in external project teams and working groups on market design issues, establishing a strong network within the energy sector to influence policy development at the national and European levels.
- You will critically analyze scientific articles, policy papers, and industry studies to extract insights relevant to market design. This involves synthesizing complex research findings to prepare internal decision-making processes and to ensure that Tenne T’s strategies are backed by the latest scientific evidence and best practices.
- You will work in the market design team of highly educated and motivated people
Your profile and background
What do we expect from you?
- You have an academic degree in economics, engineering or mathematics or a similar qualification
- You have preferably several years working experience in the offshore electricity sector or European electricity market, as well as a broad network and contacts in the electricity sector
- You show initiative and can be assertive
- You are able to get things done in a complex environment in collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Fluency in Dutch preferred, but open for applicants not fluent in Dutch and willing to learn
- Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing

The department Customers & Markets is there to position Tenne T as a thought leader in the European electricity markets. This way we support the operation of an efficient and resilient electricity system at the lowest costs.
Additional information
- The weekly working time is 32-40 hours
- Type of contract is indefinite

- The maximum salary for this role is EUR 10,122 gross per month based on 40 hours in our salary scale 18 (FUCO)
