Senior UX/UI Designer - Netherlands

Avanade Digital Studio is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing Avanade X team of designers. You have a well rounded experience as part of a, and leading a design team. In this role you’ll work in cross functional teams designing, building and testing digital solutions. Creating great experiences for our clients that make a human impact. We’re looking for someone that is resourceful, self-motivated and push themselves and the team to new levels. You’re an experienced professional, are eager to learn, experience new things and continue to develop your self and the people around you. In this role you will work closely with other designers, strategists and colleagues from Avanade, both in the Netherlands and globally. Together we do what matters.
Skills and experiences

Several years practical experience in designing digital products and services;
Experience in working with A-list brands;

A thorough understanding of UX / UI, excellent knowledge of the user interface and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Invision,]

Adobe CS);

Demonstrated experience in visual design, including brand identity, typography, color and style;

Demonstrated experience in (qualitative/quantitative) User research, User journey mapping & creation of personas;

An inspiring portfolio with UX strategy, research and interaction design;

Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills;

Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Dutch and English;

Strong curiosity for the design / tech world

What you'll do

You will lead UX for projects e.g. creating flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes while working closely with your clients;

Take ownership of clients & projects, and be an advocate and thought leader for UX design;

Using your knowledge of interaction design to craft delightful user experiences;

Coach & mentor emerging designers in projects and on the work floor;

Taking creative opportunities and running with them, turning ideas into workable concepts that speak to users while meeting client

objectives;

Spot and expand opportunities with our clients and build strong collaborations and be involved in presales and pitching.
