Function

• Help ensure the optimal functioning of the department;
• Improve productivity and efficiency;
• Making proposals for changes regarding the execution of activities, methods and ways of working with the aim of improving service and increasing internal and external customer satisfaction;
• Minimizing the number of errors;
• Reducing lead times;
• Communicating well and conducting consultations within and outside the department;
• Co-executing personnel policies;
• Achieving departmental planning;
• Accountable to the Supervisor;
• Taking over various tasks during leave and absence of the Supervisor.
• Making a proactive contribution to continuous improvement methodology.

Profile

• MBO working and thinking level;
• Good knowledge of the logistics organization;
• Knowledge and experience in managing warehouse employees;
• Good knowledge of warehouse management systems;
• Good communication skills and positive attitude;
• Experience in working with logistics processes;
• Excellent knowledge and command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
• Execution of quality procedure ISO 9001;
• Flexible and stress resistant and willing to work overtime in (and if necessary out of) season;
• Willing to work different shifts;
• Improvement-oriented, team player, understand and satisfy customers, sense of business ethics.
