Transformation and Change Manager, Risk Europe

As Transformation and Change Manager Risk Europe you will initiate, set-up and manage strategic and high-profile Risk related projects as well as oversee the transformation agenda of the Risk Team Europe. This role is pivotal in driving strategic projects that enhance organizational performance and operational efficiency. The manager will work closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of change initiatives.
The Change and Transformation Manager plays a crucial role in helping the organization navigate through periods of change with minimal disruption while maximizing positive outcomes. By fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement, this role ensures that the organization remains competitive and resilient in an ever-evolving business landscape. Their strategic insights and ability to drive innovation contribute significantly to the overall growth and success of the organization.
You will be part of the Risk Europe MT with a direct reporting line to the CRO, Region Europe.

Day to day:
- Develop and implement effective change management strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. Identify areas for simplification and innovation.
- Proactively oversee and coordinate the transformation agenda.
- Create additional value by managing existing resources efficiently to achieve project or transformation objectives within planned timeframes.
- Actively support various risk domains in Europe, including European Risk Management, Integrated Risk Management, Europe Risk Management, C&R Management, and Flow Risk Management with project management.
- Manage and streamline complexity to minimize downstream impacts at the market level.
- Define a change process that is agile and flexible, ensuring end-to-end control over deliverables and outcomes while supporting audit trails when necessary.
- Define business project plans, including deliverables and timelines.
- Work on multiple larger or more complex projects simultaneously, potentially leading a project team.
- Create content for some of the deliverables.
- Deliver progress reports, prepare agendas for the Steering Committee (if applicable), and ensure proper documentation.
- Report to the Regional Risk Committee about outstanding Change and Transformation Risks in the European Region.
- Create and implement comprehensive communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the transformation process.
- Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
- Complexity may relate to factors such as the pan-European (and often global) nature of the initiatives, potential resistance to progressive changes, and senior stakeholder management.
- Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.

Essentials:
- We are looking for an experienced change manager who managed complex transformation, preferably in an international environment
- Be proactive, ability to streamline complex task and able to deal with (senior stakeholders) at any level of the organization are pre requisite for the candidate
- Exhibits flexibility and resilience in a rapidly changing environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Fosters a collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates a forward-thinking mindset, continually seeking new and creative solutions to drive organizational success
- Knowledge of the Compliance, Legal and / or Risk domain in the financial service environment is a requirement
- Knowledge of sustainability requirements is an added bonus
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Law, Compliance or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Team player, but self-reliant in approach
- Risk awareness combined with commercial and entrepreneurial drive, capable to act on different levels and in a sensitivity way, stress tolerance and impactful
- Experience working in a global environment and interacting with IT teams
- Project management capabilities and ability to work agile.
