Te tūranga | The role:
ASB Business Banking, including Corporate, Commercial, Rural, Business SME, Global Transaction Banking and Global Markets, continues to experience strong growth and we are looking for a senior leader to champion our market risk frameworks to support our Global markets business.
Through the development and implementation of risk standards and framework, you will be responsible for driving a team of specialists in managing market and credit risk for Global Markets. With a focus on stakeholder relationships and risk management principles, you will provide market risk advice and reporting on adherence to risk management frameworks.
This is a 12 month secondment with the potential to extend, and is based at North Wharf in Auckland CBD.
Ō pūkenga | About you:

You will have experience overseeing market risk frameworks to ensure adherence to professional ethics, bank policies and compliance with NZ, Australian and international regulatory requirements.
People leadership experience, along with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the business and drive outcomes.
Be able to present strategic outcomes, make the complex simple, and present compelling propositions and proposals.
You will have deep technical expertise, with the curiosity to be hands on and to continue to grow and discover more in the space.
