Mō te tūranga | About the Role

As a Product Manager, you’ll be part of the team providing key product management support for all the managed investment schemes provided by BTNZ, Westpac’s investment management arm. Day to day you’ll focus on the customer experience while managing the end-to-end aspects of delivery of products to market including meeting regulatory commitments, strategic planning, business analysis, pricing, risk management, governance, and stakeholder management.

We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, loves to take the lead and is comfortable working collaboratively in cross functional teams. You must be an excellent communicator and will ideally come from a background in financial services.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

4+ years’ previous experience in a product management role (in funds management and/or investments would be advantageous)
General understanding of investment markets and products available in New Zealand
Proven experience & ability to lead projects and deliver strategy and business outcomes in a large and complex organisation
A growth mindset with the ability to drive change through a large organisation
Strong time and stakeholder management skills to guide individuals to fast and effective outcomes
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
