What we need from you:
- You must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- The ability to provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environment
- Strong focus on food safety compliance
- Leadership skills to support and mentor the team
- Proficiency in stock control, ordering, and delivery checks
- Exceptional customer service standards
- Ability to engage with local community
- Well-rounded experience within bar/pub industry
- Flexible availability to work rostered shifts as our venue is open 7 days a week
What will your job duties include?
- Leading the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
- Planning and designing menus in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Reporting and management of food and labour costs
- Stock take and ordering of food supplies
- Discussing food preparation issues and procedures with kitchen and waiting staff
- Ensure both BOH and FOH teams are always adequately briefed on menu changes and updates required for successful service.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations and standards
- Working professionally and effectively in a fast paced environment and communicating with kitchen team members
- Undertaking reporting, food handling and storage duties as required
