We are expanding our Sales & Business Development team and are looking for a highly motivated professional to join us as a Sales & Business Development Director. This role is remote and based in Nigeria, with a focus on growing our presence in the USA and EU markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the USA and EU markets. Build a strong pipeline of prospects, qualify leads, and develop long-term client relationships.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Present tailored solutions to potential clients that align with their business needs.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target markets. Attend virtual meetings, negotiate deals, and close agreements that drive company growth.
- Revenue Generation: Lead the sales efforts to generate recurring revenue by securing new deals and managing ongoing relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and project delivery for new clients.
- Reporting: Track and report on key sales metrics, performance, and progress toward revenue goals.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a strong focus on the software development or technology sector.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated success in closing deals, generating revenue, and achieving sales targets in international markets, particularly the USA and EU.
- Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present solutions effectively to C-level executives.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the software development industry and market dynamics in the USA and EU.
- Remote Work: Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales process across different time zones.
- Results-Driven: A self-starter with a passion for sales and a results-oriented mindset.
- Trial Period (First 90 Days):
- Compensation: 20% recurring revenue sharing on deals closed.
- Goal: Must close at least 2 deals during the trial period to qualify for full-time employment.
- No Fixed Salary: This is a performance-driven period with no fixed salary.
- Post-Trial Period (Full-Time Employment):
- Salary Range: ₦400,000 - ₦600,000 per month, depending on experience and performance.
- Performance Bonus: 10% recurring revenue sharing on deals closed.
- Additional Benefits: Potential for growth within the company, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
