YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT
We are in an exciting period of new opportunities in Europe. We are strengthening our international team and have recently won the contract to build the new section of the E18-E39 motorway in Kristiansand, Norway.
Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Génie Civil, has won the design-build contract awarded by Statens Vegvesen, a company owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Transport, to build the new section of the E18-E39 urban motorway between Gartnerløkka and Kolsdalen in Kristiansand, Norway, at a cost of more than €234 million1 (NOK 2,755 million2).
The aim of the contract is to increase the capacity of the main interchange providing access to the city centre and port activities of the country's 6th largest city. It involves the construction of a 1.4 km 2x2 lane motorway in a dense urban area, including the construction of 12 structures, the reconstruction of 1.5 km of track, as well as the redevelopment of the existing ferry terminal and the installation of electrical and traffic engineering equipment.
This new contract won by Eiffage Génie Civil strengthens the Group's position in Norway, where it is currently carrying out design-build work on lots 1, 2 and 3 of the E18 motorway (section between Langangen and Rugtvedt) on behalf of Nye Veier, a company owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Transport.

YOUR MAIN TASKS
You will be responsible to supervise and coordinate the use of BIM within EGC and its subcontractors.

YOUR MAIN TASKS
You will be responsible to supervise and coordinate the use of BIM within EGC and its subcontractors.
Your responsibilities and duties:

Define or update BIM processes (management plan, manual, etc.) and issue the templates
-
Coordinate the use of BIM within project organization and subcontractors, especially the designers
-
Ensure conformity and checks proper integration of the project’s models
-
Participate in design reviews and contribute to clash resolution

Lead BIM reviews with the designer and within the project: compliance to plans and data consistency

Ensure the proper use of the exchange platforms for sharing models
-
Manage software implementation and support for the project

Manage the training program for employees and subcontractors

Communicate data to project stakeholder

Eiffage Génie Civil est présent dans l’ensemble des spécialités du génie civil. Ses équipes interviennent depuis la conception jusqu’à la construction, mais aussi en réparation et en maintenance, et en démolition, sur de nombreux ouvrages en France et à l’international.

Ideally with an experience of 5 years for a contractor or designer – at least 3 significant past positions

A solid technical background in civil works and a good command of Revit
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team

Project language is English. Norwegian will be an advantage.

Full-time permanent position based in Porsgrunn, Norway under a local contract
