The finance department in the segment Power Solutions is primarily located in Tranby. This department is responsible for delivering first class financial reporting and forecasting for the segment, which consists of Hydropower, Benestad, Subsea Power distribution, Subsea Strategic assets, and Tranby manufacturing. The team is working closely with the business to deliver valuable financial insight to make the best possible business decisions on a day-to-day basis. As the segment is preparing for reasonable growth we are planning to strengthen the team.
We are now seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Controller for Power Solutions.
At Aker Solutions Power Solutions, we specialize in developing, manufacturing, and delivering projects, products and services within the areas of Hydropower, Benestad, Subsea Power distribution, Subsea Strategic assets, and Tranby manufacturing to customers and projects worldwide. The workplace will be at our office at Tranby.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support SVP Controlling Power Solutions by actively providing financial information to drive management decisions
• Support with analysis and reporting of financial performance and provide short and long term financial forecast and budgets with regards to various Pn L, Balance sheet and cash flow
• Support driving the finance and operational improvement agenda for Power Solutions
• Participate and contribute to project and operational reviews for the segment.
• Monitor and analyze financial trends and impact of risks and changes.
• Support securing a sound cash-flow.
• Coordinate with the treasury team in Aker Solutions to ensure hedging of foreign currency and bank guarantees.
• Participate in tender reviews and other ad-hoc work.

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller with strong finance, business and cost control experience who can strengthen our team. Additionally, we're looking for individuals with:

• A higher education degree in business administration or finance (Siviløkonom or similar)
• Excellent Excel-skills. Experience in SAP is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Norwegian is preferred
• A structured and analytical working style with respect for deadlines
• The ability to work independently
