Department Overview

A role with the responsibility of ensuring smooth network operation by maintaining Operations Support Systems (OSS) applications and services. Instrumental in optimizing network operations efficiency to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Job Description

Tasks:

• Work closely with internal product teams and external vendors to evaluate and implement new OSS applications and services.
• Review design solution documents.
• Develop internal and external test strategies, plans and scripts.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up to date documentation of configurations, processes and procedures for each and every application and service running within the OSS domain.
• Investigate and resolve complex OSS implementation and network problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts to streamline network operations and improve efficiency.
• Implement and enforce security best practices to protect network systems and data integrity.
• Provide insights for OSS capacity planning and optimization.

Basic Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of principles regarding design, testing and maintenance of IT applications and services.
• Knowledge of basic administration of Microsoft Windows and linux virtual machines.
• Knowledge of network management protocols, such as SNMP, and IP tools for their troubleshooting, such as Wireshark or similar.
• Hands on experience with scripting and basic tools development.
• Familiarity with IP protocols
• Familiarity with VMware virtual environments.
• ITIL certification and/or experience is an advantage.

• This role requires contributions as an individual and a team member.
• Hybrid workplace model with at least three days a week in the office.
