As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and motivated Product Engineer to join our team.
As a Product Engineer you will play a critical role in the development, design, and optimization of Sea Q Integrated Bridge System. You will collaborate closely different teams, including R&D, project, production, and end-customer to ensure that our product meet the highest standard of quality, functionality, and user experience. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be crucial in driving product innovation forward.

Key information
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product manager and stakeholders to develop and refine product concepts, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Conduct testing and validation of product to ensure they meet expected criteria
- Cooperate with delivery team to optimize delivery processes, improve efficiency, and resolve any technical issues that might during that phase.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and cost reductions, and implement changes as needed.
- Provide technical support to project and sales team, assist in troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues.
- Participate in the approval process of the product with classifications societies.

Maintain detailed documentation of product designs, specifications, and test results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree within electro / electronics / automation / computer science. Newly graduated are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant work experience can compensate for formal education
- Certificate in electro / electronics is an advantage.
- Experience in product engineering, preferably in maritime industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiar with Autocad, Wago PLC, computer networking, general computer and electrical hardware. Some knowledge in Java, Java Script and C++ is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Knowledge in marine navigation and communication equipment is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Norwegian and English.
