We are currently seeking a new Product Manager for Weather Routing
WROS is the total service allowing for planning the safest and most cost-effective way between the departure and arrival ports. The success criteria are to Sail Safely and arrive just in time at your ETA, saving as much fuel and GHG emissions as possible compared to traditional route planning.
The Product Manager Weather routing will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product's lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals and working closely with Management to achieve this.

Key responsibilities
- Building up a new generation of Weather Routing Optimization Services (WROS).
- In addition, the Met Oc forcing from Atmospheric, Wave and Current models will be part of the responsibility, as well as display of Marine Weather forecasts in NAVTOR UIs.
- Take part in further R&D activities to make sure NAVTOR's services are the smartest in the market
- Support in sales pitches
- Marketing intelligence, keep track of competitor products and market trends
- 3rd line support for Customer Service and Technical Support with questions related to the product
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant experience from Product Management and/or weather routeing and related service.
- Preferable nautical experience from a relevant branch in the maritime industry (preferably Tanker/Dry cargo).
- Commercial instinct
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English oral and written
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
