About the position
NAVTOR is searching for Product Owners in several domains. These domains range from technical products, such as the e-navigation SDK via Cloud services and Edge solutions, to customer-facing applications:
As a member of the development team, the Product Owner provides clarity to the team about a product’s vision and goal.
All work is derived and prioritized based on the product goal to deliver value to all stakeholders including those within their organization and all users both inside and out. Product Owners identify, measure, and maximize value throughout the entire product's lifecycle.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to drive product development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Product owners are accountable for:
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap
- Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog.
- Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy.
- Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals.
- Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- Five or more years of experience in product development
- Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
- In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
- Understanding of business value related to features and functions
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English, oral, and writing

Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information and specifications to adequate stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
