Lubricant Supply Chain Manager

As the Country Lubricant Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations for lubricant business in Pakistan. This pivotal role entails strategic planning, efficient coordination, and flawless execution to ensure the seamless flow of products from suppliers to customers while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer requirements.
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels effectively to balance supply and demand, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory holding costs.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of raw materials while negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Production Management: Lead and coordinate production activities to optimize plant efficiency, maximize output, and ensure product quality meets company standards.
- Logistics Optimization: Streamline transportation and distribution processes to minimize lead times, reduce transportation costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures throughout the supply chain to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
- Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the planning, logistics, production, and plant operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the supply chain, such as supplier shortages, transportation delays, or production bottlenecks.
