Position Title: Sr. AI developer and Dev Ops Expert
Reporting to: Amena Shakil
Job Group: 2/3
Location: Pakistan
Division: TSS Pakistan
Department/Unit: Automation/Integration Hub
Position Related
An AI developer is responsible for developing and implementing back-end components and connecting applications to other web services. AI Developers design and implement machine learning models, developing advanced AI applications, and ensuring the applications perform as required.
The role involves collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications, blending knowledge in data science and software engineering to create AI models that serve business needs.
Goals
  • Designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems
  • Running machine learning tests and experiments to verify the effectiveness of models
  • Implementing appropriate AI/ML algorithms to solve specific problems
  • Studying and transforming data science prototypes to make them suitable for production
  • Building intelligent systems by training algorithms and models
  • Researching and implementing appropriate ML algorithms and tools
  • Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them
  • Collaborating with other teams to design AI prototypes
  • Developing machine learning applications according to requirements
  • Maintaining and improving existing AI systems as per the need
  • Ensuring AI applications align with the organization’s objectives
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Python development.
  • Develop and maintain server-side components using Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in AI/ML, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience / Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in Python development with a strong understanding of AI frameworks.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script) and experience with frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
  • Familiarity with database systems (My SQL, Postgre SQL, or Mongo DB) and ORM libraries.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices and AI devops tools
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
