Position Overview:
As a Video Editor / Animator, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling video content that aligns with our clients' branding and marketing strategies. You will be responsible for editing raw footage, animating graphics, and producing high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling through video, excellent technical skills, and a strong creative vision.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for editing raw footage, animating graphics, and producing high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing:
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging videos that meet project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video projects, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and objectives.
- Animation and Motion Graphics:
- Create eye-catching animations and motion graphics to enhance video content and communicate ideas effectively.
- Design and animate titles, lower thirds, and visual effects that complement the overall narrative.
- Pre-Production and Planning:
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects.
- Assist in the preparation of scripts, shot lists, and production schedules to streamline the editing process.
- Post-Production:
- Conduct color correction, audio mixing, and final rendering of videos to ensure high production quality.
- Manage and organize video files and assets, maintaining a well-structured library for easy access and retrieval.
- Collaboration and Feedback:
- Work closely with clients and team members to gather feedback and implement changes as necessary.
- Present drafts and final edits to stakeholders, ensuring their vision is accurately translated into the final product.
- Keeping Up-to-Date:
- Stay informed about the latest video trends, techniques, and software updates to continually improve skills and processes.
- Experiment with new tools and technologies to enhance video production quality and efficiency.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of professional experience in video editing and animation, preferably in an agency or freelance environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing and animation work.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and animation tools (Adobe After Effects, Blender, etc.).
- Knowledge of sound editing and audio mixing software is a plus.
- Creative Skills:
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
