Responsibilities:

• Understand the domain, business cases, objectives, and KPIs that need to be reported and analyzed
• Data exploration skills to unravel data sources and identify the granularity, attributes and measures
• Coordinate and collaborate with data engineering team and BI leads to ensure timely project delivery
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and modeling the DW objects in the BI tool for reporting
• Identifying errors and opportunity areas and provide recommendations on top of existing solutions
• Strong story-telling capability through visualizations and guided analytics driven smart dashboards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical/Quantitative subject such as Computer Science (B.E/B.Tech/MCA)
• 4+ years relevant experience in the field of BI Reporting, Data Analytics, Data Warehouse/BI solutions
• Proficient in SQL (advanced functions), query optimization, and ad-hoc data analysis using SQL/Python
• Ability to use live connection in the BI tool and construct advanced analytical SQL queries for reporting
• Import the data model from the data warehouse into the semantic layer/BI tool & define business KPIs
• Develop reports and dashboards with adept visualizations in BI tools presenting the business metrics
• Create Python based customized visualizations when BI tool is absent or doesn't have native visualization
• Appropriate utilization of advanced visualizations like scatter plots, heat maps, area charts,
  histograms etc
  
• Knowledge of programming concepts around customization in BI tool using
  CSS/HTML/Java Script/Node JS
  
• Must have worked with RDS or data lakes (My SQL, Postgre SQL, Oracle, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
  
• Hands-on experience in using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sisense Fusion, Oracle BI
  etc.
  
• Develop statistical analysis visualizations establishing linkages b/w leading & lagging business
  metrics
