Chief Corporate Solutions and Alternative Distribution Officer

Chief Corporate Solutions Officer is responsible for driving sustainable growth for Manulife’s Corporate Solutions Business. They will be responsible for the end-to-end customer journey and P&L for the business, leading a team of multi-channel sales (agency, broker, direct, banca, worksite), group pricing, group accounts management, group operations, and digital transformation. They will also be developing and executing a strategy that will enhance the customer and distributor experience, bring needs-based propositions to the corporate market, and ensure the competitiveness and profitability of Manulife Philippines in the Corporate Solutions Space. They will also responsible for enable business growth through strategic partnerships with other financial institutions, traditional, and emerging digital players.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and accountable for Sales, Profitability, and Operations for Corporate Solutions across Manulife Philippines and Manulife China Bank
  • Lead a cross-functional team responsible for Business Development, Sales, Group Accounts Management, Group Operations, Worksite Marketing, and Digital Transformation for Corporate Solutions
  • Business Development - Expand Manulife's distribution network by engaging potential partners in traditional and emerging channels, developing mutually beneficial partnership propositions and solutions to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Sales – Engage our Distributors and Customers to grow our Corporate Solutions Portfolio, supporting them in terms of proposals and propositions and ensuring Manulife remains both competitive and profitable
  • Group Accounts Management – Manage existing corporate solutions portfolio through customer / distributor engagement, liaising with internal functions, review of pricing and renewal offers, and ensuring positiv
  • e customer experience and profitability for in-force portfolio
  • Group Operations – End-to-end servicing of corporate solutions accounts including onboarding, billing and collection, member management, underwriting, pricing, and claims
  • Worksite Marketing – Offer Voluntary solutions to Corporate Solutions clients through financial wellness sessions, workplace campaigns / events, and digital marketing
  • Digital - Execute and manage digital initiatives for Corporate Solutions across the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a positive and optimized customer and distributor experience that enables sales growth and business efficiencies.

Experiences and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder with at least 10 years relevant insurance experience, preferably in group / employee benefits space
  • Leadership and Management Experience
  • P&L / Profit Center Accountability is an advantage
  • Data driven in making decisions and crafting strategies
  • Must have very strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
