Responsibilities:
- The Credit Officer is responsible in the evaluation and recommendation of applications for decision and ensures that the applicant meets credit standards based on Credit Policies and Guidelines.
- Conducts evaluation and review of credit applications as a component of the existing credit policies and gives feedback/results in the least possible time.
- Prepares spread sheet and financial analysis.
- Credit Officer ensures the following:
a. Review results of external credit bureaus.
b. Ensures that verification and checking done by Credit Verifier are complete and accurate.
c. Proper tagging and identification of MSME (Micro and Small Medium Enterprises) and tagging of industry in processing of application.
- Finalize loan structure by taking into consideration credit scores, debt burden ratio, other policy compliance including deviations and justifications prior to recommendation.
- Prepares reports as requested by the superiors.
- Performs other job-related functions that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
- Participates in Kaizen related activities.
- Attends seminars and training program related to the job.
- Working alongside the Credit Verifier.
Requirements:
- Holds a degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Management, or any related course.
- Have knowledge & experience with the Accounting Standards, Budgeting, and Loan & Financial Reporting.
- Must have an experience working as Credit & Collection in the Banking Industry
- Possess good written and oral English communication skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
