Pay Operation Specialist
Get to know the Role: Grab is seeking a dedicated Driver Payment Operations Specialist to join our Center of Excellence team, ensuring that our network of driver partners are paid accurately and on time. This relatively junior role is crucial for maintaining the satisfaction and loyalty of our driver partners across Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for operational excellence.
The day-to-day activities:
Payment Processing: Oversee the daily processing of driver payments, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and bonuses. Address any payment discrepancies promptly to maintain trust and transparency with our driver partners.
System Management: Monitor and manage the payment system to ensure it operates smoothly, updating records accurately, and handling any system issues that may impact payment processing.
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure that all payment processes comply with local regulations and company policies. Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies or inefficiencies in the payment process.
Driver Support: Act as the primary point of contact for driver partners regarding payment inquiries and issues. Provide timely and clear responses to ensure driver satisfaction and trust in the payment process.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on payment activities, highlighting trends, issues, and insights. Use data to recommend improvements in the payment process to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and customer service teams to streamline payment processes and resolve any cross-departmental issues that may affect payments.
Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve the payment process, including automation, system upgrades, and policy changes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
The must haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in payment processing, finance operations, or a similar role.
Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in spreadsheet and database management, with the ability to manage large datasets.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance individuals.
Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements in Southeast Asia is desirable. Ability to work flexibly and coordinate with teams across different time zones.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
