Work hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm UK Time Zone
Compensation range: US$1,250 - US$1,500/month

About the role
The Data Analyst will be assisting the Head of Sales Enablement in building an Excel model and process to generate standardized reports. The role will involve extensive work in an Excel workbook, mostly manually inputting data or finding ways to automate data entry. The role may require more advanced projects including structuring unstructured data, as well as building automated triggers in Excel using either Excel functions or scripts.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Format Financial Models. Leverage advanced Excel skills, including mastery of shortcuts and functions, to create and refine financial models. Scripting experience is a bonus, but not required.
Design and maintain dynamic data feeds from Excel to Power Point, transforming raw data into visually compelling presentations.
Dive Deep into Data. Spend time meticulously analyzing and parsing large Excel datasets, ensuring every detail is accurate and nothing is overlooked.
Ask insightful questions when clarity is needed and actively flag any anomalies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy at every step.
Automate current data entry processes.
Ad hoc data-related projects.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a data or financial analyst.
At least 3 years of experience working with large data sets, ideally in an e Commerce industry.
Expertise in financial modeling, including the use of hotkeys, shortcuts, and complex functions. Scripting experience is a plus, but not required.
Proven experience in formatting and building data feeds from Excel to Power Point, with an eye for creating visually appealing presentations.
Attention to detail in analyzing and parsing through large Excel datasets, ensuring precision and accuracy.
Comfortable with asking questions when uncertainties arise.
Proactive in flagging any anomalies to maintain data integrity.
