Position: Logistics Coordinator
Department: Logistics Department
A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics operations of an organization. They ensure the smooth flow of goods, materials, people, and information from suppliers to customers or between internal departments.
Shipment Coordination: Coordinate and schedule the movements of goods, materials, and people. Arrange transportation services, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and managing logistics service providers. Ensure timely delivery and monitor shipment progress.
Documentation and compliance with car registration and government rules and regulations.
Order Processing of logistic requirements such as truck rentals and truck drivers
Communication with various parties to ensure the on-time dispatch and arrival of goods and services.
Freight Cost Management: Monitor and control freight costs, negotiate rates with carriers, and optimize transportation routes to minimize expenses. Analyze transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
