Patient Preparation & Positioning:

• Prepare and explain MRI procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the process and are comfortable.
• Verify patient identity, medical history, and any special instructions prior to the MRI procedure.
• Position patients accurately for imaging, ensuring safety and comfort while minimizing discomfort.
• Assess and monitor patient condition during the MRI process, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed.
• Administer contrast agents, if necessary, and ensure proper allergic reactions protocols are followed.

MRI Imaging Procedures:

• Operate MRI equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging results.
• Adjust imaging settings, including positioning, field of view, and slice thickness, based on physician's orders and imaging protocols.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI exams, including but not limited to brain, spine, joints, and abdominal imaging.
• Perform special imaging techniques as required (e.g., functional MRI, MR angiography, cardiac MRI).

Quality Control and Safety:

• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines to ensure patient, staff, and equipment safety.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on MRI equipment to maintain operational standards.
• Maintain MRI room cleanliness, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and work areas after each patient.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Respond to emergencies or adverse reactions during MRI procedures promptly.

Patient Care & Support:

• Assist patients in and out of the MRI machine, providing support to those who are anxious, claustrophobic, or have mobility issues.
• Communicate effectively with patients and provide emotional support during the imaging process.
• Monitor patients throughout the procedure, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other medical professionals to provide the most accurate and relevant imaging.
• Ensure all images are properly captured, labeled, and archived in the imaging system.
• Document patient history, procedure details, and any observations in accordance with medical protocols.
• Assist with the review and interpretation of MRI images, providing support to radiologists in their diagnostic assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
• Certification: Valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for Radiologic Technologists in the Philippines.
• Basic Life Support, Basic Computer knowledge (i.e. Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Ensure adequate and complete supplies and needs of the section.
• Must be willing to work in Makati City.

Pay: Php27,000.00 - Php31,000.00 per month
