Position: Network Engineer

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Level 1 Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their network infrastructure.
Work Setup:

Full-time job
Permanent work from home
Ability to work from 2:00 AM - 11:00 AM Philippine Standard Time (8:00 AM -5:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time)

Job Duties:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Address helpdesk tickets or phone calls, resolving network issues, such as circuit down, low performance, connectivity problems
Monitor network circuit and device alerts and performance issues, ensuring reliability and availability
Work with NOC to handle circuit and device alerts
Assist L2 engineers in circuit provisioning
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting methods
Assist L3 engineers in backend system maintenance
Execute network maintenance and upgrades, including patches and security configurations
Adhere to established configuration and change management policies for successful network infrastructure changes.
Availability to work during after hours (on-call)

Requirements and skills

Minimum one year of practical networking experience
Preferably CCNA certified, though certification not mandatory
Proficiency with monitoring, network diagnostic, and analytics tools
Basic understanding and hands-on experience with basic networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, and Syslog
Familiarity with network products like Cisco switches and routers, Meraki switches/APs/firewalls, Palo Alto/Fortinet firewall, Mikro Tik routers, Juniper routers, or Adtran
Capability to work autonomously and handle multiple projects in a dynamic setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
