New Business Consultant
Location:
Reporting to:
- Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s and sales targets (essential)
- Making a high volume of outbound / inbound phone calls, typically 60-80 phone calls a day (essential)
- Onboarding tradies to the platform, assisting them in creating or improving their accounts so they can be successful
- Explaining the key benefits and ROI to potential clients
- Handling customers objections (as required)
- Closing the sale and signing up new members
- Developing and maintaining accurate product knowledge
- Liaising with relevant internal departments to ensure that client’s needs are met
- Effective note taking on all client interactions and input into CRM system
- The Sales Experience: Proactively maintains sales pipeline, driving personal sales to meet targets
- The Service Experience: Speaks with genuine enthusiasm and confidence about the brand and product, following the script and adding value to help close sales
- Account Management: Identify, assist, re-engage and support key customers in using the plaform and securing work.
- Sales Management Operations: Follows sales touchpoint process, adhering to QA process as required
- Sales Drive: Motivated to achieve sales goals and targets
- Sales Resilience: Remains focussed on work when under pressure, showing an optimistic approach to work
- Communication: Speaks clearly and audibly, checking for understanding
- Relationship Building: Connects and develops rapport with others to build and maintain good working relationships
- Planning / Organising: Plans and prioritises own tasks and activities to meet targets
- Commercial Acumen: Understands how Builderscrack operates and makes money
- Experience in a phone based role making a high volume of inbound/ outbound calls, preferably in a sales environment. Preferred experience in working to sales targets and KPI’s.
- Working alongside a highly motivated sales team who are driven to exceed sales targets
- Have built a solid understanding of the platform and be able to use this knowledge to maximise sales conversion rates and revenue
- Be competent with the CRM system and be able to use it to effectively manage your sales pipeline
- Have a good understanding of the journey after they’ve signed up onto the platform
- Have a basic understanding of the Sales Policy and follow the outlined processes
- Be an expert in selling the benefits to tradies, selling the dream
- Have developed a basic understanding of the verification requirements
- Regularly met and exceeded weekly sales targets and KPI’s
- Be an expert on the platform and use this knowledge to leverage higher sales conversion rates and revenue
- Be an expert in the CRM System and use it to maximise sales results
- Be an expert in the Sales Policy and consistently follow the outlined guidelines
- Be an expert on the customer journey for tradies after they sign up and be able to articulate this to tradies when needed
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s
- Superb client relational, leadership, and people-management skills.
- Adaptive to changing work schedules and environment.
- Operates with very minimal direction and supervision.
- Proven time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Detail oriented, analytical, problem-solver, and sound decision maker.

- Professional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate initiatives and efforts.
- Ability to develop agents and Team Leaders / Shift Managers to be critical thinkers in all their interactions with the customers or colleagues.
- Possess excellent communication skills that they can impart to respective agents and Team Leaders / Shift Managers
- Should be able to train Team Leaders / Shift Managers with all updates and changes in the processes of the campaign.
- Strong command in English communication both Oral and written.
- Should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
- Open communication between staff while maintaining professional conduct.
