Quality Assurance Officer - Cebu

The position is primarily responsible for ensuring the strict and consistent compliance of the organization to quality, environmental, occupational health & safety policies, standards, and requirements of all interested parties. Quality Assurance Officer is directly responsible for the compliance of all Distribution Centers to Business Partner, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Systems

Works with the Quality Manager in the design, development, and implementation of Quality Assurance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety in all Distribution Centers.
Works as the Internal Audit Team Leader.
Performs the duty & responsibilities of the Site Safety Officer & Pollution Control Officer (refer to appointment letter)
Ensures the operational activities are in place related to Quality & Regulatory requirements, Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety (EOSH) as directed by the QA Manager.

Quality Audits

Conducts routine operational audits on ISO 9001:2015, good distribution and storage practices, and current good manufacturing practices compliance for all Distribution Centers and other management system & operational controls related to EOSH.
Conducts warehouse and QA spot inspection.

Quality Assurance

Serves as a license holder related to FDA in Distribution Center operations:
Monitors DC’s compliance to permits & licenses.
Coordinates with the Operations Director on the required operational controls for the site’s compliance.
Coordinates with Regulatory Affairs team and ensures regulatory compliance of the Distribution Center including activities but not limited to applicable DC’s license applications & renewal.
Supports Regulatory Affairs in handling Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Report and product complaint. Responsible in reporting the incidence to the Business Partner/s and to the local FDA.
Implement the guidelines, policies, and procedures in all Distribution Centers.
Works with the different functional leads or process owner in all Distribution Centers for the yearly review of their process.
Maintains an updated and organized filing system of controlled and working documents for the Main Distribution Center, in coordination with the Document Controller.
Adheres to the implementation of environmental, occupational health & safety policies, functional objectives, and process goals of GBPI.
Assists in QA operations, in the absence of the QA Associate (for Main DC).
Documents periodic warehouse temperature mapping and pack-out validation (as necessary)
Conducts echo training related to warehouse operations (GDSP, c GMP, Cold Chain Management, etc.)

Administrative

Handles special projects and initiatives related to the quality, environmental, occupational health & safety process.
Initiates change control, as needed.
Initiates calibration or recalibration of all warehouse equipment.
Prepares and provides the reportorial requirements of the company and Business Partners as requested.
Recommends to management the necessary interventions, policies, and procedures that will make the delivery of the function’s objectives effective and efficient.

SSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of any four (4) year course preferably related to sciences or engineering, must be a licensed Pharmacist.
Experience(s): Minimum of two (2) years combined experience in quality assurance and internal quality audit, preferably in the same industry as GBPI,
Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with quality assurance processes and industry standards. Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standard, Good Distribution and Storage Practices, and current Good Manufacturing Practices. Computer literate and has
