Job Title: Senior Payroll Accountant (US)
Work Setup & Schedule:

• Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 9:00PM to 6:00AM)

What you’ll be doing:

• Take ownership of the payroll processing workflow and tasks necessary to accomplish accurate and timely payment to all weekly and biweekly employees.
• Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, retro pay corrections, 401k deductions, and department/cost center transfers.
• Process payroll and perform final checks when needed.
• Reconcile the payout of pooled tips with applicable timesheet hours
• Assist Payroll Assoc. Director with timesheet and payroll adjustment reviews prior to payroll closeout.
• Assist with running payroll reports ensuring accurate processing of payroll.
• Assist with the monitoring of employee classifications within cost centers, fulfillment centers, and reporting into the general ledger
• Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately while maintaining high level of confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate and acceptable electronic files on each employee in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Research, analyze and resolve discrepancies, reporting to management as needed.
• Audit and ensure proper onboarding of new employees as it relates to data integrity within the UKG Ready HRIS system.
• Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of employer payroll tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned or as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in US payroll accounting
• Strong knowledge of US payroll tax regulations and compliance
• Experience with HRIS
• Experience with benefit administration and the related payroll deductions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate to Advance Excel Skills
• Knowledgeable in GSuite
• Preferrebly with experience using UKG Ready (HRIS/Payroll)
