Manager, Advancement Office (Stewardship)

Reporting to the Assistant Director (Stewardship), this role supports the Division’s work in stewarding the relationship between SIT and its donors. The Manager’s key responsibilities are initiating and maintaining effective platforms that allow positive engagements that benefit both donors and the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide good stewardship to donors by initiating touch points and activities to increase engagement and ensure donors are appreciated and connected to SIT.
- Clearly articulate the institution’s mission, impact and needs while also creating a connection to the donors’ preferences.
- Working with the Assistant Director, Stewardship to build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that donors’ and institution’s intent are fulfilled.
- Provide support to other advancement services and processes as needed.
- Possess a good university degree with at least 5 years of working experience. (Prior work experience in advancement will be an advantage.)
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable and enjoys face-to-face meetings with donors and other stakeholders.
- Attention to detail as part of relationship-building.
