Candidate Architect or Technologist
A well-established architectural practice based in Alberton, Johannesburg, A.A. Papageorgiou Architects is looking for a Candidate Architect or Technologist to join our team.
We specialize in residential, commercial, and industrial building typologies, with projects spanning Gauteng and Southern Africa. This role involves participation in concept and design development, as well as the production of marketing, municipal, and technical construction drawings.
The candidate will oversee design, coordination, staff management, and site supervision, and maintain an understanding of administrative processes essential to a design office.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates invited for interviews will need to bring along a hard copy of their portfolio.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential,
- Skills in Photoshop, In Design and Lumion (or other presentation tools) are advantageous,
- Knowledge of South African building regulations (SANS 10400), town planning concepts, green buildingprinciples, and Work Stages 1-6,
- A collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
